KGO-CHANNEL 7 (SAN FRANCISCO) -- San Francisco State Professor Joe Tuman stopped by ABC7 News Tuesday to share his fond memories of San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee.
“I think his legacy, if you want to ask me as his friend, was the profile of this city you see when you’re coming across the bridge. This city is different,” Tuman said. “And not all of that is great. There has been some gentrification and the rest of it. But this is a bigger, more powerful city than it was before, and that stuff, that change, happened on Ed’s watch.”
