TV OVERMIND -- Young and the Restless fans know Kate Linder well. Well, we know Esther Valentine well. She’s been on the show since 1982, which makes her one of the longest-running characters to date. She’s not taken any significant amount of time off work, she’s not made us wonder if she’s leaving and never coming back, and she’s just been one of those familiar faces we just love and can’t get enough of for more than 36 years now.
She is a woman who knows what she wants in life, and she’s always done precisely what she wants. When she graduated from high school, she made the decision to go to college. She obtain a degree from San Francisco State University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in theatre arts.
