Alum Kiesha Wright Raises Money to Fight Leukemia as Tina Turner Impersonator

BROADWAY WORLD -- Kiesha Wright has been performing since she was seven years old when she played the organ at her local church. She studied music and dance at San Francisco State University before being hired as the first Tina Turner impersonator with Legends in Concerts in Las Vegas, Nevada. She now performs all over the world paying tribute to Tina Turner, an also with her Kiesha Wright Show.

She started her own nonprofit organization called the Kiesha Wright-Mary Lou Children’s Foundation to give back to charities who help children and families who are battling childhood leukemia.
