At The Marsh, Professor D'Agostino to Discuss World War II

BROADWAY WORLD (SAN FRANCISCO) -- Professor and war and peace expert Anthony D'Agostino of San Francisco State University will join actor John Fisher for an insightful, free talkback following the 8:30pm, Saturday, December 8, performance of A History of World War II: The D-Day Invasion to the Fall of Berlin at The Marsh San Francisco.

With a great deal of his work focusing on the Russian revolution and its impact on the world, Professor Anthony D’Agostino has published one of the most detailed histories of the fall of Soviet Communism in the era of Gorbachev. Specializing in war and peace issues among the great states in the history of world politics, he is most familiar with the history of Russia. Professor D’Agostino is embarking on a world history of the U.S. era of globalization while also commenting frequently on world politics for Bay Area radio stations.
