An audition will be held for this year’s national anthem singer at San Francisco State University’s Commencement. It is open to all students graduating this summer (undergraduate and graduate students) or who graduated in fall 2018. Please be prepared to sing the national anthem unaccompanied! A signup sheet is posted opposite the School of Music office in the Creative Arts Building, Room 141.
Auditions will be held April 2, 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in Creative Arts Building, Room 136.
Commencement takes place May 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Oracle Park (formerly AT&T Park), 24 Willie Mays Plaza, San Francisco. Regalia is required. The singer must arrive by 4 p.m.
