THE HEALDSBURG TRIBUNE -- All those folks named were part of the market planning but some played a more public role than others. Doug Stout, retired English Professor from San Francisco State and his wife Kazumi Nishio, greeted me as I arrived for the first time, unannounced, with a station wagon full of fresh figs and no knowledge of what to do with them.
