EAST BAY TIMES -- So what traits, if any, does Bening share with Feinstein? We’re not sure, but the actress does at least have some Bay Area ties. She graduated with a degree in theatre arts from San Francisco State University. She also performed with the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, where her roles included a turn as Shakespeare’s Lady Macbeth, and for Cal Shakes in Orinda. At Cal Shakes, Bening appeared in seven shows in the summers of 1982 and 1983.
