TIMES RECORD NEWS (WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS) -- After graduating from San Francisco State University and traveling the world, Byron began her career as a sculptor and painter, holding successful exhibitions at some of San Francisco's leading galleries. Her sculpting skills and love for odd jobs soon led her into the field of model-making and toy-prototyping, which led to a job with Jamie Hyneman at M5 Industries. It was at M5 that Byron got her big break with MythBusters. She was on the show from 2003 to 2018. She has gone on to host and produce other shows including Head Rush, Punkin Chunkin and Netflix’s The White Rabbit Project.
