BBC NEWSNIGHT (LONDON) -- “Political science research has told us that it’s not enough to portray yourself as an option for the voters, but you have to have some real enthusiasm and support in order to have a successful candidacy,” said Rebecca Eissler, assistant professor of Political Science at San Francisco State University. “So it’s a really exciting opportunity for political scientists to see a test in real life of what happens when money is the primary campaign tool.”
