SPUTNIK INTERNATIONAL -- Whoever emerges victorious in November will have to deal with the protests, says Anthony Robert Pahnke, professor of international relations at San Francisco State University.

“If Biden becomes President in November, he will have lots of work to do to address the demands of protestors,” Pahnke notes. “If the Democrats win the Senate and keep the House [of Representatives], then it is possible for major legislation to be passed that would address police reform, which is something that racial justice advocates have been promoting.”
