Professor Cunningham's Documentary of Breakdancer, 'Crutch,' Screens at DocLands

MARIN -- Sachi Cunningham is a filmmaker and professor at San Francisco State University.

“Lots of people have wanted to make films about Bill over the years,” Cunningham said, “but I know that he let me in to do the documentary before I even knew how to make them, because he trusted me as a friend and knew I would not take the easy route and do a typical ‘triumph over adversity’ disability narrative.”
