MEAWW -- Wong was born on October 24, 1960, to Roberta Christine Wong, a telephone-company supervisor, and William D. Wong, a postal worker. He was raised in San Francisco, along with his older and younger brother. He attended Lincoln High School and later went to San Francisco State University.

His other works include “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Oz,” “Awake,” “Jurassic Park” franchise, “Gotham” and “Seven Years in Tibet.” He’s also lent his voice to numerous animated characters, such as Captain Li Shang from Disney’s “Mulan” and in “Mulan II.”
