Classics Professor and Chair David D. Leitao is featured in the first of a series of video profiles featuring faculty discussing their passions for teaching and research. He talks about how his scholarly endeavors, such as his book The Pregnant Male as Myth and Metaphor in Classical Greek Literature, connect to students in the classroom.

“I really want the students to see that trajectory, that continuum, from the Pagan Greek and Roman thinkers to early Christianity,” Leitao says in the video. “Part of the argument of the course is that Christianity is built on a Greco-Roman foundation.”
