Dawn Lundy Martin
Lundy Martin is the author of A Gathering of Matter / A Matter of Gathering (University of Georgia Press, 2007), winner of the Cave Canem Prize; DISCIPLINE (Nightboat Books, 2011), selected by Fanny Howe for the Nightboat Books Poetry Prize and a finalist for both the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and Lambda Literary Award; Candy, a limited-edition letterpress chapbook (Albion Books, 2011); The Main Cause of the Exodus (O’clock Press, 2014); and The Morning Hour, selected by C.D. Wright for the 2003 Poetry Society of America’s National Chapbook Fellowship. Her collection Life in a Box is a Pretty Life will be published by Nightboat Books in 2014. Lundy Martin earned her Master of Arts from SF State and is an associate professor at University of Pittsburgh.
Anne Lesley Selcer
Selcer works in the expanded field of poetics, most often in space between the visual and language. Artspeak, Centre A and the Or galleries have commissioned writing, along with artists Abass Ackhavan and Aurel Schmidt. More work can be found in Fillip, Arcade, Doppelganger, Formes Poetiques Contemporaines and With + Stand. Since 2008, she has been investigating beauty. Parts of from A Book of Poems on Beauty appear in Action, Yes! magazine, the Dusie Kollektiv and T-10 Video Festival. Selcer’s language-based video piece Fortune Sequence for Two Voices screened recently at the California College of the Arts.
