Alum Deloris Roach Runs for Vacaville Unified Schools Trust

THE REPORTER (VACAVILLE) -- Among other things, the reception will feature a presentation by Roach, a small-business owner and former East Bay school district trustee, on school district issues and how the community can help, followed by a question-and-answer session. Refreshments will be served. The public is invited and donations are encouraged; however, no one will be turned away, she said in a written statement. A public relations and public affairs consultant, Roach has owned a business for the past 10 years and worked for 15 years in the public sector, including 10 with the city of Fairfield in public information management. She also worked for several years in the private sector, in advertising, radio and television. Roach served five years on the Emery Unified School District governing board. A graduate of University of California, Berkeley, Roach earned a Master’s degree in radio, television communications from San Francisco State University.
