5:30pm – 6pm: Reception
6pm – 6:10pm: Welcome and introduction from Design and Industry Department Chair Ricardo Gomes and representatives from the SF State Career Center, Industrial Designers Society of America and American Institute of Graphic Arts.
6:15pm – 7:05pm: alumni Pecha Kucha presentations, showing 20 images, each for 20 seconds, to best describe, or profile, their professional design career, background or experiences.
7:10pm – 8:10pm: Student portfolio “peek” review
8:15pm – 8:45pm: Panel discussion and critique: Students and alumni discuss techniques and objectives of portfolio presentations and interviews
8:45pm – 9:15 pm Open portfolio “breakout” session
