Writers on Writing: Lucy Corin
The Creative Writing Department opens its Writers on Writing course to the public every Monday evening of the semester. Taught by Donna de la Perrière, the course features faculty and visiting writers reading from their works and discussing their creative process.
Lucy Corin
Corin’s other books are the short-story collection The Entire Predicament and novel Everyday Psychokillers: A History for Girls. Her stories have appeared in American Short Fiction, Conjunctions, Ploughshares, Tin House Magazine, New Stories From the South: The Year’s Best and many other places. She won the 2012 American Academy of Arts and Letters Rome Prize, has been a fellow at Breadloaf and Sewanee and a resident at Yaddo and the Radar Lab. Corin earned her Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and Master of Fine Arts from Brown University. She is an associate professor at University of California, Davis, where she teaches English and Creative Writing.
