Progressive Proof: Innovative Prints from the Pacific Rim
Friday, February 21, 2014, 4:00 pm to Wednesday, March 26, 2014, 5:00 pm
This exhibition brings together nine women artists whose work in printmaking transcends the two-dimensional. Using paper, but also materials as diverse as glass, fiber blocks and water, these artists reshape traditional ideas of art in the form of prints, sculpture and social practice. Curated by artist and Assistant Professor of Art Susan Belau, the exhibition features new work by artists living in Australia, Canada, Taiwan and the U.S. Wednesdays-Saturdays, 11am-4pm. Opening reception: February 22, 1-3pm. Free.
