USA TODAY -- Stephanie Ross and Angelique Bybee were on a cross-country road trip from San Francisco and found themselves in Philadelphia during the Democratic National Convention. Ross, a History major at San Francisco State University, decided to participate in the protests outside the DNC because of voter fraud, saying, “History has shown that large demonstrations is what fuels change.” “The history of American politics has changed, and I think it’s time for a more progressive party — not just the Democrats or the Republicans,” Ross says. “If people can’t understand that, it’s not my problem. I want an inclusive government. I want the 99 percent to have a voice.”
