Samantha Giles

Samantha Giles is the author of hurdis addo (Displaced Press, 2010), deadfalls and snares (Futurepoem Books, 2014) and origin (Ixnay Press, 2016). She is the director of Small Press Traffic and lives in Oakland.

Angela Hume

Angela Hume is an Oakland-based critic and poet. Her research and writing explore intersections between 20th and 21st century “lyric” poetry, women’s writing and ecological consciousness. Her critical work appears in journals such as Contemporary Literature, ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, Evental Aesthetics and Jacket2. Her first full-length book of poetry is Middle Time (Omnidawn, 2016). Hume co-curated Hearts Desire, the reading series of the Bay Area Public School, and served on the board of directors for Small Press Traffic.
