Alum Greg Proops of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' Returns to Marin

MARIN INDEPENDENT JOURNAL -- Greg Proops was immediately drawn to improv while, as a student at San Francisco State University, he watched improv performers grab audience members onto the stage with them. He wanted to be grabbed onstage. Now nearly 40 years later, Proops is the one grabbing audience members on stage as a member of “Whose Live Anyway?” Even for those who have seen the television show, the interactivity between the audience and performers makes the live show better, Proops says. “You think you’ve seen it on the tele,” he says. “But come to the show and you’ll likely convulse with laughter.”
