On November 3, writers Carolina De Robertis and Micah Perks read from their work at The Poetry Center. After their readings, they conversed with the audience and answered questions.
Carolina De Robertis reads her poem “Para Orlando,” written in response to the Pulse nightclub shootings of June 12, in Orlando, Florida. She reads her original Spanish language poem followed by her translation, “For Orlando.”
Micah Perks reads from the opening of her novel What Becomes Us.
