On November 10, The Poetry Center hosted poet José Kozer for a reading of his work. Kozer is recognized in the Spanish-speaking world as the foremost Cuban poet of his generation. The full program includes Kozer’s complete reading, in Spanish, with readings in English (from Peter Boyle’s translations) by Norma Cole, Chris Daniels and Steve Dickison, followed by Kozer responding to questions from the audience.
The Poetry Center, Jewish Studies Department and Modern Languages and Literatures Department sponsored the event.
