CongCong Chai, piano

Congcong Chai was recently awarded first prize at Italy's 14th Padova International Music Competition. He has also captured numerous other competition honors, including the top prizes from the American Fine Arts Festival, Metropolitan, IBLA Foundation and the Dallas Chamber Symphony international piano competitions. Chai has performed throughout the U.S., China, Austria and Italy, and has appeared as soloist with Symphony in the Valley (Colorado), the Dallas Chamber Symphony, Vienna International Orchestra, Hays Symphony Orchestra (Kansas) and Guang Dian Symphony Orchestra. He is a doctoral student at University of Kansas a music instructor at Wuhan Conservatory in China. The Philadelphia Inquirer writes: "Congcong Chai made Chopin’s Ballade No. 3 in A-flat Major all his own, with a crisp sound." Free.
