BECAfest is the annual showcase and celebration of the work produced by Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts students. Emulating Hollywood's top award shows, BECAfest features award-winning work in video, audio, writing and radio, among other categories. Free.

Event extras:
BECAfest takes place in SF State’s high-definition television studio in front of a large, appreciative audience, and is also broadcast live online. Students compete for the “Becky Award” in 14 categories, judged by a panel of esteemed alumni and faculty.
BECAfest also provides significant learning outcomes — preparing students for the high-demand standards of putting on a large, live television event.
