THE NEW YORK TIMES -- Actor Jeffrey Tambor discusses his favorite books. When asked about his favorite book about acting and show business, he recalled his days as a student at SF State. “When I was a student at San Francisco State College, I read ‘Actors Talk About Acting’ — Lunt and Fontanne, José Ferrer — I couldn’t get enough. I think it’s out of print. I all but memorized that book. I carried it around from home to school and back again.”
