BROADWAY WORLD (SAN FRANCISCO) -- In his inaugural commission as Crowded Fire’s playwright-in-residence, Christopher Chen tackles the power structures inherent in large corporations. Set in a parallel world, “A Tale of Autumn” is a psychological rise-to-power fable.

Chen is the 2017 Obie winner for playwriting for his play “Caught” (New York Times Critics Pick, Barrymore Award, Drama League Nomination). A San Francisco native, Chris is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Master of Fine Arts in playwriting from SF State.
