SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE -- Jason McDaniel, a political science professor at San Francisco State University, applauded Ronen’s strategy of using money for staff, rather than one-time projects.
“Is it a work-around? Yes,” he said. “But I think it’s innovative. And it seems clearly motivated to work on problems in her district.”
He said that adding staff is one of the best ways that politicians can improve the quality of government.
