The Laramie Project is the story of Matthew Shepard and the people who knew him. It is told in the exact words of the people to whom it happened. The Laramie Project chronicles the journey of a community deeply shaken by an act of unthinkable violence perpetrated not by strangers, but by two members of the community against one of its own -- and the attempt to shift the community from hatred, fear and ignorance to forgiveness, redemption and enlightenment. The Laramie Project is an invitation to explore the power of empathy. Join us as we return to Laramie during those fateful days in 1998. Directed by Bill Peters. October 12 - October 14, 7:30pm (canceled). October 15, 2pm (canceled). October 18, 7:30pm (Free). October 19 - October 21, 7:30pm. October 22, 2pm. $15 - $20.
