Jasmine Gibson
Jasmine Gibson is a Philly jawn now living in Brooklyn and a soon-to-be psychotherapist for all your gooey psychotic episodes that match the bipolar flows of capital. She spends her time thinking about sexy things like psychosis, desire and freedom. Gibson has written for Mask Magazine and LIES Vol II: Journal of Materialist Feminism. She is the author of the poetry collection Don’t Let Them See Me Like This (Nightboat Boaks) and the chapbook Drapetomania (Commune Editions). “Learning to write outside the finishing schools of sanctioned vers libre, Gibson’s poetry enacts an emphatic opposition to the racial oppression that grounds the United States.” — Entropy magazine.
Juliana Spahr
Juliana Spahr has written eight volumes of poetry, including The Winter the Wolf Came, Well Then There Now and Response, winner of the National Poetry Series Award. She is also the editor, with Claudia Rankine, of American Women Poets in the 21st Century and the winner of the 2009 O.B. Hardison Jr. Poetry Prize from the Folger Shakespeare Library. Spahr is the Joan Danforth Professor in the Arts at Mills College.
