ABILENE REPORTER NEWS (TEXAS) -- While Pryor-Harden has enjoyed the heavy, dramatic roles she has taken on in recent years, she said she's enjoying her return to comedic roles. She has a background in comedic acting going back to her schooling at San Francisco State University, “about a hundred years ago” she joked. But the role involves her working with a dog, Sylvia, who is played by a human (Amanda Keith in ACT’s production). That offers her a challenge she hasn’t faced yet on stage. “To find the relationship and balance and communicate with another human being (who is playing a dog), who I’m also supposed to be the dominant person over — yet I'm not," she said.
