Former Student D'Arcy Drollinger Creates Meals on Heels, a Drag Queen Food-Delivery Business

SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE -- When Drollinger graduated in 1987, he moved back to San Francisco to study at San Francisco State, dropping out in 1991 to go on tour with his art punk band, Enrique. The band broke up and Drollinger recorded an album with a different lineup of musicians in 1996. Drollinger then worked in the San Francisco nightlife world, including at the door of 1015 Folsom, an early experiment in drag.

“It was more club kid drag than what I do now,” says Drollinger, whose current drag style leans more toward “blond glamazon.”
