KTVU-CHANNEL 2 (OAKLAND) -- President Donald Trump’s medical team updated his medical condition outside Walter Reed Medical Center on Sunday morning. San Francisco State University Political Science Professor Rebecca Eissler talked to “Mornings on 2” about the political implications of the president’s health.
“We have seen former Vice President Biden choose to remove negative ads, but we’ve also seen in research that negative advertising doesn’t really help candidates,” Eissler said. “It doesn’t dissuade from voting for the person that’s being attacked. So this isn’t necessarily something that drastically changes the outcome of the way people are looking at this campaign.”
