THE GUARDSMAN (CITY COLLEGE OF SAN FRANCISCO) -- The hustle did not let up after transferring to San Francisco State. He interned at radio station KNBR, and co-hosted “Three Man Weave” on San Francisco State University’s KSFS radio, his first foray into sports talk radio. Professor of media arts Jeff Jacoby said Hill exhibited all qualities necessary for success in this field: “Eagerness, enthusiasm, seriousness of purpose, leadership, … Those qualities define Bonta Hill.”
“He always took critique graciously and I would see that reflected in the show. … By the time they were done they were doing a professional-level show,” Jacoby added.
