Going Global: From San Francisco to the World
The Global Museum serves as an academic resource and exhibition hub for the University and surrounding community. Its mission is to serve as a responsible steward of cultural heritage, a place of scholarship, community and engagement and a space in which to appreciate the power of diverse communities in a globally-connected world. The museum creates experiences that foster lifelong learning, collaboration with and among diverse communities and encourage reflection about global society and our common humanity.
The Global Museum was made possible in part by a donation from the San Francisco State University Foundation’s Mary MacWilliam Fund.
