Student Domonik Hernandez Wins Film Festival Prize

DINUBA SENTINEL -- Dinuba High School senior Domonik Hernandez has long admired filmmakers Stanley Kubrick and Paul Thomas Anderson. Now, 18-year-old Domonik is an award-winning filmmaker himself. His short films were chosen among the top four in two categories for this year’s Slick Rock Student Film Festival sponsored by the Tulare County Office of Education. Student-made films in various categories were shown at the festival on Saturday at Visalia’s Fox Theater. In August he will enter San Francisco State where he will major in Cinema.
