The College Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE) committee invites students to present their undergraduate research at the fourth annual LCA Undergraduate Research Showcase, to be held online in the spring semester.
The showcase is modeled on professional conferences and reflects the unique diversity of disciplines with the College of Liberal & Creative Arts, ranging from the humanities to the social sciences to the creative arts. The committee welcomes a variety of formats to showcase student research projects such as posters, presentations, performances and other appropriate formats. All students, regardless of their research experience, are encouraged to enter their work.
To participate, each student must have a faculty mentor. Student work from either fall 2019 or spring 2020 is eligible. Students who have completed their studies in fall 2019 are still eligible.
All students will receive a certificate of participation. Faculty will provide constructive feedback to all participants. Registered students currently enrolled for the spring 2020 semester who attend the closing reception will also be eligible to win an iPad and other prizes in the showcase raffle.
The LCA Undergraduate Research Showcase application must be completed and submitted via the Qualtrics form by 11:59pm on Monday, April 6, 2020.
If you have any questions about the showcase or how to apply, please contact Joshua Singer, CURE co-director, at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
