Overview

Ambassador Dennis Ross will be speaking to the current Ukraine/Russia conflict, touching on the subject of Iran, and talking about his involvement with Israel/Palestine. Ambassador Ross has served as the Director of Policy Planning in the State Department under President George H. W. Bush, the special Middle East coordinator under President Bill Clinton, and was a special adviser for the Persian Gulf and Southwest Asia (which includes Iran) to the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. A question and answer period will follow Ambassador Ross's lecture. Attendees will also be eligible to receive Ambassador Ross's latest book! (while supplies last).

The event will take place on SF State's campus at Seven Hills Conference Center. Doors will open at 11 a.m., with light refreshments available, and the event will begin promptly at 12 p.m. For security reasons, only registered attendees will be able to enter the event. Free for SF State students, faculty and staff.

COVID-19 requirements to attend San Francisco State University events

Until further notice, audience members who attend SF State events will be required to either:

San Francisco State faculty, students and staff will need to show their “Green Dot” after completing the SF State COVID-19 daily screening.

SF State health and safety protocols are to be followed at all times, including wearing face coverings indoors and adhering to all guidance measures.
